Push Back Rack Push Back pallet racks can replace drive-in type racks because they provide a more flexible system. Instead of driving into the rack, pallets are accessed in the operating aisle. Pallets are placed by forklift on nested carts riding on inclined rails. When loading, each pallet is placed on a cart and pushed back by subsequent pallet loading. When removing pallets, the forklift removes the front pallet, allowing the pallets on carts behind it to roll to the front of rack.
